On Saturday, October 22nd, the Encinal High School Soaring Jet Marching Band and Guard Unit competed in the Foothill High Band Review in Pleasanton. This was a large review with 46 total marching bands. Our Jets were in the largest division, competing against 7 other bands that were mostly larger than us.
The amazing Flag Team (or guard unit) took 3rd place and the awesome Marching Band took 1st!!!!!! The 1st place trophy is five feet tall and is taller than 12 of our band students!
We next compete in the Fairfield Tournament of Champions on Saturday, November 19th, where we hope to best our previous scores. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ENCINAL MARCHING BAND AND GUARD ON YOUR SUCCESS!!!
