The History Mystery Tour offers a unique chance to tour the USS Hornet after hours and learn the history of this incredible ship while it is illuminated in the red lights used for “night ops.” We’ll go deep into Hornet where you will also hear the stories behind her legendary haunts. More About USS Hornet Museum
The USS Hornet Museum is located on the Naval Air Base on the USS Hornet. Since its commission in 1943, the USS Hornet has participated in World War II, the Vietnam War, and the first moon mission series. Rich in American naval tradition, the museum has many artifacts from its missions, including an Apollo Space Capsule.
