On January 15, 2013, the Teacher of the Year Program for 2012-13 was officially launched at the Board of Education Meeting.
The Teacher of the Year Program is designed to honor and recognize excellent teachers working in the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) and provides an opportunity for parents, students, staff, and community members to nominate any pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade teacher or any teacher of adults who provide instruction in the same curriculum as those who teach in elementary or secondary grades .
Nomination forms are available at the school sites or on AUSD's Homepage,http://www.alameda.k12.ca.us/ under the "Latest News" section.
Completed nomination forms should be submitted to the Nominee’s Principal by Friday, February 8, 2013.
