Citizen Schools helps at-risk middle schools by expanding the school day. We fill that additional time with academic support and hands-on, real world “apprenticeships” taught by volunteer Citizen Teachers.
You can volunteer one day a week over ten weeks, to teach a subject you are passionate about. In the process you can open student’s eyes to new opportunities and helped them make connections between school, college and career.
