Saint Philip Neri School Goes Bald

All students at Saint Philip Neri school participate in service learning. Students are encouraged to reach out to improve their local community and the global world through service projects. Saint Philip Neri students are inspired to be leaders and are instilled with life long values.

As part of their service learning, a group of students in grades 3-7 shaved their heads to help fund cancer research for children in conjunction with St. Baldrick's. Because kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment, "shavees" for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation show their support by shaving their heads voluntarily, and inspiring friends and family to donate money to support childhood cancer research.

This is another of many examples of Saint Philip Neri students and their goal to be respectful, responsible, life long learners and give back to their communities.
