Golden Gate Basset Rescue will hold an adoption event in front of Pet Food Express at 2651 Blanding Ave. (located in Alameda's Bridgeside Shopping Center) Sunday, April 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come meet and greet basset hounds looking for their forever homes and find out more about the breed.

Representatives from Golden Gate Basset Rescue (GGBR) a non-profit which serves Northern California and parts of Nevada, will be available to answer your questions about these lovable dogs.

This is the first adoption fair the group has held in Alameda.
