Alameda's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Buff

Each week, Alameda Patch will highlight an adoptable animal that's waiting for a "forever" home" at the FAAS Alameda Animal Shelter for a 'forever home." Information is provided by Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS).

Hi, I’m Buff and I live up to my name! I’m about 2 years old and my friends at FAAS tell me that my coat is a wonderfully soft brown/buff cream color. I like it when they tell me I’m handsome. I really love people a lot, and if someone rubs my belly I’ll follow them anywhere. I’m ready to go to my forever home, so please come visit me today.

The is located at 1590 Fortmann Way, Alameda. Open hours are Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays. The phone number is 510-337-8565. The website is www.alamedaanimalshelter.org.
