Alameda's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Butters

Each week, Alameda Patch highlights an adoptable animal that's waiting for a "forever home" at the FAAS Alameda Animal Shelter. Information is provided by Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS).

Butters says, "I am a smart little guy and eager to please. I am about 1 years old and full of life. You can see it on my face! I am ready to 'butter you up,' so come on in and meet me."

The FAAS Alameda Animal Shelter is located at 1590 Fortmann Way, Alameda. Open hours are Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays. The phone number is 510-337-8565. The website is www.alamedaanimalshelter.org.
