Each week, Alameda Patch highlights an adoptable animal that's waiting for a "forever" home" at the FAAS Alameda Animal Shelter for a 'forever home." Information is provided by Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS).

Hi I’m Faeden, my name is Gaelic for “golden.” I’m an adorable 3-month-old kitten full of mischief and purrs, looking for a sunbeam to call my own. My brother Copper and sisters Delilah and Tortie are anxious for a home too! We would love to meet you!

The  is located at 1590 Fortmann Way, Alameda. Open hours are Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays. The phone number is 510-337-8565. The website iswww.alamedaanimalshelter.org.
