Tux Would Like to Sit in Your Lap and Snuggle

Each week, Alameda Patch will highlight an adoptable animal that's waiting at the FAAS Alameda Animal Shelter for a "forever home." Information is provided by Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS).

Mr friends call me Tux, because I look like I'm all dressed up in my tuxedo for a formal event.  But, I'm actually kind of an informal dude who prefers to sit in your lap (I'm a bit big for that, I know), get lots of pets, and play.  I'm only about 1 1/2 years old, enjoy other dogs, and I'd like to try out your lap and snuggle.  Please come see me!

Visit Tux and all his other large dog friends on May 4th and 5th for Big Dog Days.  All dogs 50 pounds and over are being adopted at a special adoption fee of $50.  Each adopter gets a large goodie bag full of great items for you and your new pet.

Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) has over 50 animals waiting for their new homes.  All of them are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and health/behavior screened before adoption.
