The Alameda Social Club is proud to present one of our favorite Island restaurant, Pappo.
Come on by and meet John Thiel of Thiel Family Wines as well as Michael Ball, the artist of their current installation. This will be a great evening of fun, food and delicious wines. Proceeds will benefit The Alameda Food Bank.

They will be pouring the following wines with appetizers paired up with each one:
2009 Chardonnay ( A California/French approach to Chardonnay. 60 cases produced)
2008 Chateauneuf-du-Pappo (75% grenache based blend. Grapes from a private vineyard in Orinda. Drinking very well right now. 80 Cases produced)
2007 Old Vine Zinfandel (Great vintage, great grapes, great winemaker…you guessed it, great wine. Only 45 Cases produced)
Thiel Family Wines are high quality, small production wines only available at Pappo. There will be anassortment of appetizers to be enjoyed with the wines. John Thiel will also be present for a casual Q&A to discuss his wines and approach to making them.
Portion of the proceeds will go to the Alameda Food Bank.
