Irish Music Benefit for Olive Quilter

Olive Quilter is an Alameda resident and former Irish Dance teacher in Alameda. Many of her Irish musician friends are gathering tonight to hold a benefit concert for her at The Plough and Stars Irish Pub in San Francisco. Olive has been very ill for some time and this concert will raise money to pay her medical expenses. It is a fantastic collection of Irish musicians from around the bay area. Brave the San Mateo bridge (as the westbound bay bridge is closed) and have a grand Irish time at the Plough and Stars.

Here's what you can expect... Barry O'Connell & Vinny and Suzanne Cronin and special guests Joe & Maureen Murtagh will kick off the event at The Plough right @ 8pm, our set dancers will whirl! Plenty of fun with Tipsy House: Jack Gilder, Darcy Noonan, Richard Mandel and Dave Cory to follow... getting Toasty with The Inspectors: Pat Hamilton, Kenny Somerville, Vincy Keehan, Cormac Gannon an...d Daithi O'Comhrai! Don't miss the ENCB led by Autumn Rhodes, Patrick O'Donnell, Steve Agacinski. Next, the pub will be rocking with Niall McCormack & Antonius Hancock Band, not to forget Rory McNamara, John Caulfield and The Gas Men featuring The Kennelly-Whelan Dancers... Ending with a Mega Session of San Francisco's trad music community, all players welcomed!! Promises to be great craic and a memorable night! Be sure to make it!
