Rhythmix Comedy Jam Featuring Johnny Steele & Friends

Join Johnny Steele & Friends for a 90 minute spectacle of hilarious topical stand up comedy, music, interviews, and other surprises.  It’s The Rhythmix Comedy Jam: SNL meets The Daily Show meets stand up comedy meets, well, middle age.  Featuring a rotating cast of performers from the wildly successful Big Fat Year End Kiss Off Comedy Tour plus other special guests, you’ll laugh the whole night through, or at least most of it.

 

Johnny is known as a Smart-Mouth, MuckrakING, Rabble Rousing, Wisecracker with a quick wit and a never-ending slew of satirical observations about the state of the world. He was a former host of several radio and TV shows including The Live 105 Morning Show, THE SHOW on KRON 4/Bay TV, The War On Error Radio Hour on Green 960. He's also a past winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and has headlined across the US, Canada, and Europe.

Rhythmix Cultural Works (RCW) opened its doors in 2007 as a community arts center to bring people of all ages together for a wide range of high quality arts experiences. Only five minutes from downtown Oakland off Hwy 880, RCW offers a beautifully renovated 150-seat theater, art gallery and classroom as affordable space for live performances, exhibitions, arts education and cultural exchange for youth, families and adults. By providing a range of exhibits, workshops, classes and performances, RCW supports local, regional and international artists in the presentation of their work and strives to encourage community awareness through participation in the arts.
