Tot Shabbat

Families with children age 3 to 8 are especially invited to attend Temple Israel of Alameda's monthly Tot Shabbat at 6:15 p.m.

The short family-friendly service features upbeat Jewish singing, prayer and readings. It is led by Alameda's Samantha Chelouche. Noah Berk accompanies on guitar.

The actual service begins at 6:30 p.m. sharp, so allow enough time to park and get settled. An Oneg Shabbat featuring kid-friendly snacks follows from 7 to 7:20 p.m.
