Bicycle to Work? BikeAlameda Wants Your Help

Bike commuters, take the short survey and you'll be entered in a drawing for a bike shop gift certificate

In preparation for Bike to Work Day on May 10, BikeAlameda is asking bicycle commuters to take a short survey.

If you regularly travel between Alameda and Oakland and ride a bike (or would consider riding a bike) for at least part of your journey, fill out the online survey and you will have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to a local bike shop.

You can take the survey here:

BikeAlameda notes that cyclists traveling between Alameda and downtown Oakland (and points beyond via BART) have an alternative to the Tube, via the free shuttle service operated by the City of Alameda. The shuttle runs between West Alameda and Lake Merritt BART during commute hours and is equipped to carry up to 12 bikes. You can learn more about the shuttle service here.
