"Not In Our Town II" Film Event

Not In Our Town II, the first film of a three-part Not In Our Town monthly film series, will be screened followed by a panel discussion. The location for this documentary film event is the College of Alameda Student Lounge, Building F.  Panelists will be Alameda Mayor Marie Gilmore; Alameda Vice-Mayor Rob Bonta; Rick Moss, Director of the African American Museum and Library of Oakland; and Rufino Ramos, Faculty Advisor of the Latinos Unidos Student Club of the College of Alameda.

Everyone is welcome. The venue is wheelchair accessible and on bus lines 20, 31 & 51A.  Refreshments will be served.

Not In Our Town II relates stories from seven communities in which residents, religious leaders and community leaders worked together to create inclusive towns, cities, workplaces and schools in the face of hate. The film is produced by the organization Not In Our Town: Working Together for Safe Inclusive Communities.
