The corporate office released an official statement about the pharmacy. "It was a very difficult decision, but, unfortunately, due to a lack of business, we have decided to exit the pharmacy business at the Raley's in San Pablo, and the Nob Hill Foods in Alameda," it read.

While some have wondered if this would mean the grocery might soon close as well, the statement from the corporate office says no. "We have no plans of closing either of these locations and look forward to continuing to serve the shopping needs of those local communities," it read.
