Miss Alameda Says Compost Celebrates Cafe Q

The Miss Alameda Says Compost (MASC) program is holding a celebration for Cafe Q, Monday, February 6th, from 7pm-8pm. The first 5 guests will get a certificate for $5 off their dining purchase for that night, provided by the MASC program. Cafe Q, 2302 Encinal, Alameda, CA

 

Cafe Q officially opened today January 18, 2012. The new cafe on Encinal Ave has a welcoming redcarpet and garden patio display upon the entrance. The cafe makes all their food from scratch. Cafe Q's signature dish is the roasted turkey with the homemade cranberry relish. Cafe Q get's all its baked goods and other ingredients from local places on the island - they support local businesses. The Cafe is all about supporting the community and keeping the support cycle moving. Their plates average $10.
