Food Truck Line-Up for Saturday, June 9

Off the Grid is bringing more gourmet food trucks — some repeats from last weekend, some new — to South Shore Center on Saturday, June 9.

The food trucks are coming to — again!

Following the success of last weekend's "soft launch" of the weekly event (big crowd, long lines, with some trucks selling out), Off the Grid is bringing nearly a dozen vendors to South Shore Center on Saturday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the official opening day.

The trucks will be serving up their varied fare near the corner of Park Street and Franciscan Way. Free parking is available at the center.

Here's the line-up for June 9:

Cupkates
Curry Up Now
Doc's of the Bay
Hapa SF
Kung Fu Tacos
Nick's Wheely Good Breakfast
OMiNinja
Senor Sisig
Seoul on Wheels
Street Dogs
Twister Truck

Off the Grid hosts food truck markets around the Bay Area, with weekly events in San Francisco and Berkeley as well as Alameda.

Stay up to date with the food truck festivities through the Off the Grid Facebook page, and click "keep me posted" below to receive email notifications of upcoming events and participating vendors.

my mouth is already salivating for Seoul on Wheels and OMiNinja! I just wish they posted their prices on their website.

i haven't made it over there yet. How well are they handling the composting and recyclables? There should not be any styrofoam of any kind in sight, either.

It seemed just as busy this week, but great to have more trucks & shorter waits at a few of them. Most still had long lines (even right at 11am!) but the Senor Sigsig taco was worth the wait. The order line was very long, but it only took a few minutes to pick up. Chicago Dogs had a short line, almost no wait for food and my dog was fantastic. Nick's Wheely Good still seems to be having trouble getting food out - friends waited far too long. They need to fix that problem. I know they cook to order, but... It shouldn't take 45 minutes to make a sandwich. Their order line is always one of the longest, which is the sign of a great product, but the food wait is unacceptable. Not sure if any trucks ran out of food early - I left around 1pm. As I walked by the mall on my way out it looked like all the restaurants there were slammed. Every table in the patio area was full, Chipoltle's patio was full - looks like everyone is benefiting from the increased foot traffic in the area. Yay for Alameda and yay for my tummy!

I meant Street Dogs - they serve Chicago-style dogs... which almost counts as a salad. ;)

I tried the Seoul on Wheels, had their bbq plate, good food! $7 bucks for rice, some steamed brocolli, and bbq pork (you're paying for the meet), good food at a decent price. I upgraded for Kimchi fried rice but it wasn't worth the $2 extra. I hope they come next week b/c that's what I'll get again! We tried the bahn Mi from Omininja... although the sandwich was HUGE... 1 foot long for $6 bucks, nicely priced... I wasn't all that impressed with it. It didn't blow me away as one of the best bahn mi's i've eaten. I ate the lemongrass chicken one. My hubby had the beef and said the meat was waaaay too chewy (so not good). Bummer, but oh well. I went around 11:15 and yes, the lines were already long... i was probably 10-15th in line for Seoul on Wheels, but it was going smoothly... I think we were out of there in around 30 min, but took waaaay less time for me to eat my food hahaha.
