Nob Hill Workers to Rally Tonight in Alameda

The employee union announced on its website that the rally would take place from 5 to 7 p.m. near the Blanding Avenue store location.

A rally is expected to occur in front of Alameda's Nob Hill supermarket this evening, following Sunday's strike over wages and medical benefits.

The United Food and Commercial Workers Local 5 posted a message on its website announcing that the rally would take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the corner of Clement and Blanding Avenues. However, a flyer also posted on the website said the rally will occur on Broadway and Blanding. Both corners are nearby the 2531 Blanding Ave. store location.

Alameda Patch was unable to get further details from a union representative.
