Vintage Fashion Fair Returns This Spring

Save the dates of May 18 and 19 for the sale and costume contest held at the historic "O" Club on Alameda Point

 

Vintage fashion lovers will flock from all over the region May 18 and 19 when over 50 vendors will display a wide array of women and men's vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, textiles, fine linens and more for sale in three ballrooms of Alameda's historic "O Club."

According to organizers, fashion from every decade including the Victorian & Deco eras, the fabulous 40s & 50s, and the glitzy 60s, 70s and 80s will be on display.   

The event begins with a cocktail party and live entertainment on May 18 for guests age 21 and older from 6 to 9 p.m. Alameda's will provide refreshments. The them of this year's costume contest at the event, which will begin at 8 p.m., is  "Vintage 60's Travel - Pan Am Style." There will be prizes for all entries as well as a grand prize $100 shopping voucher.

The next day the May 19 sale will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Early Buy Admission (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.) is $10. General admission hours will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and cost $5. There is free admission, throughout the day, for children age 16 and younger.

The "O" Club is located at 641 West Red Line Avenue, Alameda, near Main Gallery.
