Geocaching, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Science and Outdoor Adventure Building. Adventure seekers will use GPS devices to find hidden containers and win prizes. Every Friday-Sunday at the fair.
King Arthur Flour Coffee Cake Baking Contest, 10-11 a.m., Festival Square.
Fiesta Hispana theme at Festival Square. It will include all manner of Mexican food, a Day of the Dead photo exhibit, a noon-time performance by Fuego Nuevo Ballet Folklorico (A Celebration of Veracruz: the dances of El Tilingo Lingo, La Paloma, El Palomar, La Bamba, Zapateado Veracruzan), Latin beat DJ Santos Lopez at 2 p.m., along with salsa, merengue and bachatta music from 4-6 p.m.
Oaxacan Tamales Cooking Demonstration, noon-12:30 p.m., Festival Square Stage.
Tamale Tasting Contest, 2-3 p.m., Festival Square Stage.
Local youth groups will perform, including the Better World School of Music, 2:30 p.m., Family Fun Stage.
$10,000 putting contest, 3:45-4:45 p.m., race track.
At the Race Track: Horses run from 1:15 - 5:45 p.m.

Getting There:
- General parking at the fairgrounds, $8, preferred parking (Gate 8), $15
- BART shuttle available from the Dublin/Pleasanton station
- Catch a Wheels Route 8 bus, which has a drop-off at the fair on Pleasanton Avenue. BART riders go right upon exiting the fair gate to get to the Route 8 bus bay.
