The 3.5 quake was at 8:08 p.m. and centered near the Oakland Zoo.

An earthquake rattled the East Bay shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday.

The quake was centered 3 miles north-northeast of San Leandro near the Oakland Zoo.

It struck at 8:08 p.m.

The initial magnitude was listed at 3.5.

There were no immediate reports of serious damage or injury.

There was another earthquake three minutes later, at 8:11 p.m., three miles west of the San Francisco Zoo. That one measured 2.3.

There was a in roughly the region in late August.
