The BART Strike Survival Guide: Extra Ferry Service, Carpooling, Transbay Bus Service

Transit officials are warning that a possible BART strike on Monday could tie up traffic throughout the Bay Area, including on the Bay Bridge and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.

BART will provide charter bus service to San Francisco from the Fremont, East Dublin/Pleasanton, Walnut Creek and El Cerrito del Norte BART stations, beginning at 5 a.m. This bus service will only be able to accomodate between 2,000 and 4,000 riders a day each way.
