Alameda Backyard Growers - Autumn Garden Check-in

Autumn Garden Check-In - Bring a potluck item or
beverage or just bring yourself to an informal evening of updates and garden
talk.  Come tell us about what worked in your garden this summer and
(sadly) what didn't go so well.  What's on tap for your winter garden,
or are you taking a break and putting the garden to bed?  Any thoughts
about things to try next spring?  Come talk about what you've harvested,
what problems you encountered, and what comes next.  Get fellow
gardeners' input on your garden problems, and help someone else solve
theirs.  We'll talk about what's going on with Alameda Backyard Growers
and the gardening community and offer new opportunities for you to get
involved.

ABG aims for zero
waste events - please try to bring your own reusable cup, plate, utensils,
and napkin!

ABG meetings are held monthly from 6:30 – 7:30 PM on second Tuesdays at
Rhythmix Cultural Works (unless otherwise noted). Monthly meetings and
workshops are free and open to all residents of Alameda and the surrounding
area. Gardeners of all experience levels are welcome!

Monthly meetings are also a
great time to drop off fruit and vegetable donations from your garden for the
Alameda Food Bank. We deliver members' produce to the food bank the following
morning where it is typically distributed to food bank clients within 24
hours.
