LAYERED
ANXIETY

Installation

and photography by Bart D. Frescura and Elaine L. Santos

Anxiety

(noun)

  1. A
feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an

imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.

  2. Desire

to do something, typically accompanied by unease.

The

artists explore anxiety in their art mediums and subjects. Frescura's

rows of plaster cast teeth mimic the reoccurring thoughts, ideas,

conversations that plague our minds. Santos' photography reveals the

unease associated with food choice and consequence.

Bart

D. Frescura is an active artist who uses multiple mediums to create.

He is best known for his paintings - using airbrush technique- but he

is now sharing his other creations of sculpture and photography. See

Elaine

L. Santos' art activities has leaned more on the organizational side

including curating art shows at Julie's but she is now focusing more

on the creating side through photography, oil painting, and dancing.
