Encinal High Drama Department Presents "Spring Awakening"

Before Spring Awakening became a hit Broadway musical, it was a play by Frank Wedekind.  Written in Germany in 1891, Spring Awakening is perhaps the quintessential play about teen angst and sexuality in an oppressive conservative society.

The cast of 7 students - Tait Adams (who also directed the play), Linnea Arneson, Lizzy Duncan, Makana Holgerson, Samantha Jackson, Gabriel Lima, and Dana Ramos - is up to the challenge of portraying characters who are struggling to come to terms with their hormonally-charged bodies and feelings.

Because of the subject matter, the play is not recommend for children, but is recommended for teens and adults.

Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at totalgatesolutions.com
General - $7   Seniors/Students - $5
