The Alameda Firefighters, along with the Alameda Education Association, will be hosting their first annual "Crab Fest 'Fun'-Raiser" on Friday, March 1, at the Albert H. DeWitt Officers Club (641 West Redline Ave., Alameda).
Co-Sponsors of this event include: State Assembly Members Rob Bonta (District 18) and Nancy Skinner (District 14); retired Assembly Member Sandre Swanson; Alameda County Supervisor Wilma Chan; Alameda Mayor Marie Gilmore, Vice-Mayor Marilyn Ashcraft, City Council members Lena Tam and Stewart Chen.
Tickets are $50 per person / adults only. Proceeds from this crab feed will benefit the Alameda Point Collaborative Educational and Teen Centers. The doors open at 6 p.m. (no host wine and beer) and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. There will also be a raffle auction (tickets sold separately).
