This is a great opportunity for experienced athletes looking for a fun and challenging new sport, students looking to try a rowing for the first time or current rowers looking to develop their skills over the summer!
One-week Learn-to-Row camps for middle schoolers and 2-week camps for High Schoolers are designed for brand-new rowers getting into a shell for the first time and are open to those entering the 6th-12th grades. Skill development camps are geared toward experienced rowers (including those who've completed a Learn-to-Row camp) to further enhance their skills on the water!
The goal of Artemis Rowing is to create crews representative of the diversity and strength of the East Bay communities, which will compete and win on the local, regional and national level; to do this, we run affordable programs with a high-caliber coaching staff and an excellent, positive team environment.
Focusing on the balance between the individual and team, Artemis coaches train the team in the full range of boats (singles, doubles, quads, fours, and eights), working diligently to coach the athletes to exceptional results and build lasting enjoyment of the sport.
New rowers begin by developing skills and an enjoyment of the sport through learning the fundamentals from the expert coaching staff.
