Looking for a fun way for your children to spend their school winter break? Cooking Round the World is a super fun cooking and cultural education camp for boys and girls ages 7 – 13. Campers learn about places ‘round the world by cooking…. and eating! From appetizers to entrees to desserts, children learn cooking skills while experiencing a locale’s culinary flavors. Cooking Round the World Winter Break camp dates are Dec 26, 27, 28 and Jan 2, 3, 4, from 9 a.m. – 1 pm (Pre-care is available from 8 - 9) at the Elks Lodge Kitchen, 2255 Santa Clara Ave. in Alameda. Cost is $240 for the 6 days and includes an apron, a recipe binder and a delicious hot lunch! 10% discount given to families who enroll more than 1 child.
