Felix Samuel and All-Star Cuban Band

Originally from Cuba and now an Alameda resident for the past five years, Felix is excited to bring his cultural heritage
to the island of Alameda with a hot Habana night performance. Felix
will perform several songs from his album ‘En La Habana’ and a variety
of Cuban styles including Bolero, Rumba, ChaChaCha, and Timba. As they do
in Cuba, where there is music there is dancing, and the Rhythmix dance
floor will be open for you to shake it up. A star-studded line up of
Cuban musicians will back Felix making this a night to remember! To kick
off the evening, a beginner one-hour dance lesson will be offered by
SalsaWithRebecca at 7:00pm.

A Cuban-born vocalist and natural
performer from birth, Felix Samuel has a superbly potent voice and a
distinct sound, creating a contemporary Cuban music by fusing jazz,
R&B, soul, and global influences from Mozambique, Europe, and
Macedonian flavors. Felix shines as an artist, bringing contagious
energy to the stage and the dance floor.
