Redux Studios & Gallery's 2nd anniversary celebration

Redux Studios & Gallery in Alameda will celebrate
its 2nd anniversary on Friday, October 11, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Alameda Mayor Marie Gilmore will do a ceremonial ribbon-cutting to kick off the
event. The featured artist is Oakland folk artist Leon Kennedy. The Redux
artists will have open studios, and the store will be open late until 9 p.m.
for shoppers looking for vintage finds.

The event will feature wine from Rock Wall and beer from
Linden Street Brewery, plus Nothing Bundt Cakes, and food from the SVdP Kitchen
of Champions culinary training program. There will be entertainment, too. The

celebration is free.

The event is the same night at the 2nd Friday Art
Walk, which hosts gallery receptions the second Friday of each month from
Jingletown to Alameda.
