State of Alameda’s Public Schools” during the League


of Women Voters of Alameda’s (LWVA’s) free

public forum at the Community Center of

Harbor Bay Isle on Thursday, March 27, from

7:00 – 9:00 pm.

All are welcome at this forum; a

question-and-answer session will follow the officials’ presentations.

The

LWVA and AUSD have worked together to increase the district’s transparency and

community engagement. “We welcome this opportunity to talk about the good work we are doing as well as the challenges,” Superintendent Vital says. “We value

our relationship with the League of Women Voters and look forward to their questions

and comments.”

The forum will be from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the accessible Community Center


of Harbor Bay Isle at 3195

Mecartney Road on Bay Farm Island, next to


Temple

Israel and behind the service station and CVS Pharmacy at the Harbor


Bay Landing Shopping Center. Parking is available.

The League of Women Voters of Alameda, a 501(c) (3) nonpartisan and nonprofit public policy educational
