Alameda Elks Lodge Winter Blood Drive

The Alameda Elks Lodge is holding their winter blood drive this Sunday, Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

This year's drive in the name of Keil Schirrmacher, a 19-year-old Alameda resident.

Keil is currently at the UCSF Med Center in the Pediatric Cancer Wing. Keil has bone cancer and will most likely be losing a leg in the coming months.

Young adults, ages 16 and up can earn 1 hour of community service. And all blood donors receive 50 percent off the cost of our monthly all-you-can-eat facility breakfast … a $5 savings.

If you can spare an hour, please come donate blood this Sunday.
