Host families are needed in our community for students who will be visiting from Spain this summer.
The 28 students ranging in age from 13 to 18 will arrive on July 1,2012 and depart on July 29, 2012. They are coming through an organization by the name of EMY which is located in the Northern part of Spain. To date 2 students still need host families to stay with while they absorb the American culture.
The students will participate in three excursions each week from historical, cultural and entertainment sites including Alcatraz, I-Fly, Great America, an Oakland A's Game, etc. All of the excursions are paid for by the program as well as all of their ground transportation to and from the excursions.
The students come with their own spending money and with full insurance. All of the students have studied English and are coming to experience the American lifestyle as well as to improve their English. Host families are asked to provide the student with a bed as well as the cultural exchange. If you can not travel the world this summer, consider letting the world come to you!
