Vote goes the Wrong Way for Artemis Racing

Artemis to Join Defenders at Piers 30-32 during Louis Vuitton Cup. Americas Cup Challenger Series. Vote Monday 2-2 Oracle Stays at Pier 80

The result of a vote on Monday has allowed ORACLE TEAM USA, Artemis Racing, Emirates Team New Zealand and Luna Rossa Challenge to select base locations on Piers 30-32 and Pier 80 for use in 2013.

A proposed Protocol change would have allowed Artemis Racing to remain in Alameda instead of relocating to the Protocol-defined “City of San Francisco”.

But instead, the challengers have selected bases on Piers 30-32, along the cityfront. ORACLE TEAM USA has elected to remain at its current location on Pier 80.

The vote on the Protocol change was 2-2 (voting details are confidential). Without a clear majority in favor of the measure, it didn’t pass. Team Korea did not participate in the vote or the base selection process, as they have yet to begin building an AC72.

This comes on the heels of a decision by the event organizers to relocate fan experience and VIP hospitality from Piers 30-32 to Marina Green and/or the main public AC Park at Piers 27-29 on the Embarcadero.

Following the success of this summer’s AC World Series events at Marina Green, organizers have added Marina Green as a second public and hospitality area for the 2013 racing season (July-September), which includes the Louis Vuitton Cup (America’s Cup Challenger Series), the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup and the America’s Cup Finals.

Found!!! He followed me into my downstairs neighbor's house. I went to borrow some eggs. My neighborRead More was at work. I didn't know he followed me in, didn't see or hear him, got the eggs and left. I called that brat for over three hours. He raided my neighbor's garbage can and a bachelor nap on his sofa! Yay. I'm glad he's home and safe. Thank you everyone.

Good luck with that. I stopped patronizing them a year ago after some shifty practices with my highRead More end items: wouldn't give me a receipt and then my items sat untagged for three weeks. Completely missed the xmas shopping season.

It is really dangerous coming out of the dog park/tennis court parking lot. We never try to turnRead More left coming out of it, always right - and even then you have to be super careful because cars just come speeding down the street.
