Art Painted By Shelter Animals?!!!

The beautiful painting shown here was painted by "Vanilla", a very sweet intelligent cat who spent some time at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) prior to finding her forever home.  This painting and many more, all painted by shelter animals, will be available at After The Ball this Friday September 27th. 

There are also some fantastic auction items .  Just a few include 7 nights in an ocean front villa on Maui, many other great getaways, the opportunity to create and name your own ice cream flavor at Tucker's, a Channel 7 tour and meet/greet with Weatherman Mick Nicco, custom dog houses, a six person cooking class, and 2 R/T tickets anywhere Southwest Airlines flies.  After The Ball will be held at Rock Wall Wine Company from 7pm - 9:30pm with a special VIP reception from 6pm - 7pm.  Tickets can still be purchased at www.aftertheball.org or by calling FAAS at 510-337-8565.  All proceeds benefit the homeless pets at FAAS.
