Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter has lots of kittens available for adoption! There's no better time than this weekend to bring one or more of these furry balls of cuteness into your home. All adoptions at the Alameda Animal Shelter are FREE on June 1st and June 2nd as FAAS participates in Maddie's Pet Adoption Days. Maddie's Fund will pay FAAS and other participating shelters $500 or more for each adoption so we want to adopt out every single available animal! There's lots of dogs, cats, kittens, and even a puppy waiting for their forever homes.
The shelter will be open extended hours this weekend from 10AM until 6PM both days, and it is located at 1590 Fortmann Way, Alameda. There will also be FAAS animals available for adoption at the Bay Fair Mall this weekend.
To adopt from FAAS, you will need to bring proof of home ownership or, if you rent, you'll need to bring your lease indicating you can have a pet. Everyone in your household must meet the new pet prior to adoption, and if you have a dog and want to adopt another one, you'll need to bring yours in for a meet and greet.
