Sweet Vanilla is PET OF THE WEEK!

Hi there!  I'm Vanilla, and I'm a sweet 10 month old youngster.  My photo doesn't do justice to my beautiful blue eyes and silky coat.  After all, I am part Siamese!  I would be a fantastic addition to your home so please come visit with me - I can't wait to see you!!

Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) is offering a Super Summer Adoption Special for all the pets, like Vanilla, in the shelter.  The adoption fee for cats and dogs is $25, for kittens $50 or two for one, and for rabbits and other small pets, the fee is $10.  The shelter is located at 1590 Fortmann Way.  The hours are 11AM - 7PM on Wednesdays, and 11AM - 5PM Thursdays-Sundays.  To adopt, please bring everyone who lives in the household to meet the pet and either proof of home ownership or a copy of your lease showing you can have a pet.
