Brandon Sorensen: Always in Our Hearts

Donations in his Brandon's honor can be made to the family's favorite charity, St.Jude's.

Brandon Michael Sorensen, age 13 of Alameda, entered into Heaven on May 16, 2011.

Born on August 31, 1997 to the proud parents Kurt and Tammy Sorensen, and his loving brother Matthew Sorensen. He was the adored grandson of Shirley Sorensen, the late Melinda Henry and George Mendoza, cherished nephew of Steven and Rhonda Sorensen and Tom and Tim Mendoza. He was dearly  loved by his many  cousins.

Brandon started his education at Edison Elementary School, and continued on to Lincoln Middle School, where he was an outstanding seventh grade student. Brandon enjoyed the outdoors and riding his bikes.

Brandon is remembered by so many friends and family members as caring, funny and outgoing. His beautiful smile will live on in our hearts and set an example for us to live by.

Just like a star that the Lord needs, Brandon is in Heaven to help light up the world. He is our beloved angel and has been welcomed into paradise with open arms. Until we are together again, we will pray to God to tell you how much we love and miss you. You will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts and minds forever.

Though I did not know Brandon, nor his family, personally, I feel the pain and loss for the Village of Alameda. We have lost a beautiful child. My prayers are with Brandon, with the family in this most difficult time. Rev. Gabrielle
