Izzy's Angel's 3

Izzy's Angels - 2013 My daughter Cecile has a friend named Izzy Penston. She is 12 years old and was diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia about four years ago. FA causes relentless damage to the nervous system and because of this, Izzy now has physical issues she has to deal with. For example, she has to use a wheelchair almost full time. Izzy has a younger brother, Owen, and he also was just recently diagnosed with FA. The strength and endurance of Izzy, Owen, and their parents is literally beyond my comprehension. For the last three years, friends of the Penston family, her "Angel's" if you will, have put on a party to help raise awareness and funds for Izzy, Owen and FARA (Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance). This year is no exception. This is a very small, local, home grown, Alameda effort put on by people desperate to help find a cure for Izzy and Owen and we need your support. Please consider becoming one of Izzy's Angel's and come join us this Saturday night at The Club House at The Harbor Bay Club on Bay Farm Island in Alameda. Doors open at 6:30 PM and tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.hopeforizzy.com. All proceeds go to FARA. There is always a theme and this year it's 80's Prom! Costumes aren't mandatory, but they are highly encouraged. It will be a good time for a great cause so come and join us!
