As Mayor of Alameda, I have considered all of the candidates running for City Council in Tuesday’s election. I hope you will join me in voting for Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft for City Council.

Marilyn has a stellar record. She’s spent 16 years serving our community. In her 6 years on the Alameda Planning Board, she’s helped bring new businesses and jobs to Alameda and revitalize our commercial districts.

In her 6 years on the Hospital Board, she championed affordable healthcare and fiscal responsibility.

She also led the campaign that enabled us to save Alameda Hospital, and was co-chair of the campaign to build our Main Library.
