Yesterday, native Alamedan (and my mom), 92 year old Donna Thomas rode across the new Bay Bridge. She had done the same thing in 1936 on the first day that the Bay Bridge opened! On her first time, she rode with her best friend Barbara LeVagge and Barbara's mother, Mrs. LeVagge.
