10-Year-Old Runaway Found After Extensive Search by Police

Steven Hendrieth, 10, was last seen at Haight School this afternoon. Hendrieth has been found safe.

A 10-year-old runaway has been reunited with his parents after police conducted and "extensive search" this afternoon. 

According to a Nixle Alert released by Alameda Police, Steven Hendrieth had last been seen at Haight School after 3 p.m.

After an extensive area check, Steven Hendrieth was located by APD.  The child has been reunited with his parent.

Missing juvenile, Steven Hendrieth is ten years old and was last seen at Haight School at about 3:10PM.  He is 4’10”, 90 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes.  He was wearing a red plaid shirt and blue jeans, he was carrying a red/black or gray/orange backpack.  There is a possibility that Steven may be on his way to Oakland.  If located please contact the Alameda Police Department at 510/337-8340.
