14-Year-Old Arrested After Sexual Assault at Ruby Bridges Elementary
Police said the assault on a female student occurred Friday afternoon.
Police arrested a 14-year-old Alameda boy on Friday after he allegedly sexually assaulted a female student in a restroom at Ruby Bridges Elementary School, according to an article published this morning by the Contra Costa Times.
The girl, whose age was not released by police, was taken to Children's Hospital in Oakland for evaluation after the assault, the Times reported.
The youth was apprehended near the school after reports that he was seen running from the bathroom, the article said. His name was not released, but he is a student at another Alameda school, police told the Times.
