Alameda Man Killed in Highway 1 Accident
A man who died in a multi-vehicle crash near Pescadero Friday has been identified as Peter Edward Keenan, 43, of Alameda.
Bay City News Service—A man killed Friday night in a multi-vehicle crash on state Highway 1 near Pescadero in San Mateo County has been identified as Peter Edward Keenan, 43, of Alameda, according to the San Mateo County coroner's office.
Keenan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Pescadero Creek Road that was reported at 11:25 p.m., according to San Mateo County emergency and coroner's officials.
The highway was closed for nearly four hours after the multi-vehicle incident, according to emergency officials. The CHP reopened the highway just after 3 a.m. this morning.
