Alameda Police K9 Team Gives Demonstration
An APD officer and his K9 partner will visit Pet Food Express today and tomorrow to raise funds for the nonprofit group Cover Your K9.
You can visit Alameda Police Department Officer Brian Foster and his partner, Police Service Dog (PSD) Gero, at Pet Food Express, 2651 Blanding Ave., today and tomorrow, June 30 and July 1, from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
They are appearing as part of a fundraiser for Cover Your K9, a nonprofit organization that supports law engorcement K9 units throughout California. The group recently sponsored Foster and Gero in an emergency first aid training course.
