Eagle Avenue Kitchen Fire Causes $1,000 in Damages

Alameda Fire Department responded to a one-alarm fire on Eagle Avenue this evening. No injuries were reported, but the kitchen suffered about $1,000 in damages.

Alameda firefighters responded to one-alarm kitchen fire on Eagle Avenue this evening.

At around 8 p.m., three engines and two firetrucks arrived at the home on the 2300 block of Eagle Avenue according to Alameda Fire Captain Jim Colburn.

The home's occupant was uninjured, but the kitchen suffered about $1,000 in damages, Colburn said.
