One Injured in Early Morning House Fire

A midnight house fire on Corpus Christi Road sent one person to the hospital

The Alameda Fire Department responded to a house fire at 331 Corpus Christi Rd. just after midnight today, according to a fire department dispatcher.

With three fire engines and two fire trucks on the scene, the blaze was brought under control in a little over an hour, although investigators remained on the scene until 4:30 a.m., the dispatcher said.

One person was taken to Alameda Hospital with injuries, he said.
