UPDATE: Pedestrian Struck by Car, Otis Drive Reopened After Being Closed Due to Investigation

Otis Drive from Park Street to Willow Street has been reopened.

Information provided by Alameda Police Nixle Alerts—

At 4:52 am a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Otis Drive near Safeway Gas Station. The driver remained on scene until APD arrived and is cooperating with the investigation. Otis Dr. from Park Street to Willow has been shut down in both directions while APD investigates the incident. 

There is no ETA to open the street. We will send more information as soon as it becomes available.
